Alpaca Grower – Breeder has been formulated as a suplement to be fed in conjunction with pasture and/ or hay for both lactating, growing, breeding and mature stock.

· True Proteins – No urea, all protein in the form of true proteins sources
· Energy – Balanced energy and protein levels to enhance pasture / hay for assistance in maintaining · maintenance and growth requirements
· Premix – Vitamin and Mineral premix added
· Steam Conditioned – All ingredients are steamed condition prior to pelleting to aid nutrient uptake

Typical raw materials considered in the formulation of this diet
Wheat, Barley & their Co-Products, Lupins, Canola & Soybean Meal, Lucerne Meal, Vegetable Oils, Amino
Acids, Probiotics, Calcium, Phosphorus, Vitamin Premix, Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bentonite,
Potasium Chloride, Antioxidant
All raw materials used are steamed cooked prior to the pelleting precess

Feeding Suggestions
· Hay or pasture should make up the greater percentages of the total diet, ideally 2% of live body
weight (LBW)
· Where possible feed allocation over two or more feeds per day to a maximum of 1.00 % LBW
· Where it is necessary to feed mature Alpaca’s greater than 0.75 kg per day, mix equal amounts (by
weight) of a course roughage (e.g. white chaff) with pellets or ensure that stock have access to
suitable (palatable) roughage in the form of pasture and or hay at all times
· Access to cool, clean drinking water at all times (24/7)
· Introduce pellets slowly and remove any waste daily

· Feeding levels are intended as a guide only, ensure that clean, cool water and roughage in the form of
pasture and/or hay is available at all times.
· Results will vary according to seasonal conditions, age of animal, housing, health and body condition
prior to the introduction of supplements and other feed / roughage
· For best practice, feed should be introduced to livestock prior to other feeds becoming limited
· Phase new feeds in and out gradually over a 14 – 21 day period to avoid set backs
